You are moving? You want to transfer your meter?

If you are moving (in or out) in the Brussels Region, please inform our Customer Service within 15 working days. If you are selling or buying a property, please inform VIVAQUA about the sale or purchase within 8 calendar days following the transfer of ownership.

This will allow us to send the water bills to the right person!

There are 3 options to report a move or a meter transfer:

FAQ- Moving: you are an owner

  • You must send us the contact details of your tenant within 15 working days following the beginning of the rental period. We can then send the water bills to your tenant.

    There are 3 options for reporting a move or meter transfer:

    1. Call us on 02 518 88 10 (Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm)
    2. Fill in the online form
    3. Are you a syndic or a proxy (or do you simply prefer a paper version)? Fill in the PDF form

    PLEASE NOTE

    If you inform us that your tenant is moving in

    • by phone: you must have all their contact details at hand
    • via the pdf form: your tenant must sign the document
  • You must inform us about your tenant moving out within 15 working days following his move. That way we can send your former tenant a closing bill.
    You will also avoid being liable for any unpaid amounts by your tenant (see our general terms and conditions).

    If there is not a new tenant yet, VIVAQUA will temporarily send you the bills.

    PLEASE NOTE

    You want to inform us that your previous tenant is leaving AND that a new one is moving in? In that case:

    • you must have all the contact details of the new tenant if you are reporting the move by phone
    • the new tenant must sign the form if you are reporting the move by PDF form
  • Fill in the ‘Update of personal data’ form (available in French or Dutch only) and sign it.

  • Yes. VIVAQUA has to be able to send the water bill to the right person. If you do not inform us, we do not have the contact details of that person.

  • Yes. VIVAQUA has to be able to send the water bill to the right person. If you don’t let us know, we won’t have your contact details.

    • via the PDF form: the co-tenant who will receive the invoices must sign the form

    In some cases you may also need to fill in our form (online or PDF):

    • you still live in the property but VIVAQUA did not send the water bills to you. In this case, VIVAQUA will issue a closing bill in the name of the deceased. The subsequent bills will be sent to you
    • the death of the tenant terminates the tenancy agreement. In this case, you must also provide us with the contact details of the person to whom VIVAQUA should send the closing bill
    • the property is sold or becomes part of the heritage. In this case, you must also provide us with the contact details of the person to whom VIVAQUA should send the closing bill
  • VIVAQUA does not send you the water bills? You do not have to do anything.

    VIVAQUA sends you the water bills? Let us know that you are moving and want to transfer the meter.
