You are moving? You want to transfer your meter?
Closing and opening watermeters
When you move to the Brussels Region, you must first close your account at your former address and then open the meter at your new address. To do this, you have to complete our relocation form twice.
Of course, if you are arriving in our capital city (or leaving it), you only have to send one form.
How should you do this?
If you are moving in or out, selling or buying a property, please inform our Customer Service within 15 working days. This will allow us to send the water bills to the right person!
Complete, print and sign this form (updated on 10 November 2021) in 1 or 2 copies, depending on your needs. In order to process your application, we need:
- a first copy to close the meter at your old address
- a second copy to open the meter at your new address
- 1 copy of the identity card (front and back) of all persons concerned
Before sending the form, please check that you have correctly filled:
- your meter number
- the index (the figures read on your meter)
- the date of the reading
- your account number. Any refunds will be made to this account
Please note that we will not be able to process your application if your form is not filled in correctly.
Once you have completed the form, print it out and sign it. All persons involved must also sign it (owner or authorised representative, outgoing customer, new customer).
Then scan the form and attach copies of the identity cards of all persons who signed the document. If you are a proxy, please also attach a copy of the mandate.
Send all these documents via the button below.
You can also send the paper documents by post:
