Sewer network monitoring

VIVAQUA is in charge of  monitoring the sewer network in the 19 municipalities of Brussels since 2008.

These inspections help to establish the classification of each section of sewer according to its degree of deterioration and the risks of collapse associated with it. The aim is to schedule works first on the most dilapidated sewer sections.

Currently, 95% of the entire Brussels sewer network have been inspected and examined.

VIVAQUA also carries out status monitoring before and after works carried out by third parties likely to have an impact on the network, which helps to assess high-risk situations quickly and identify the damage caused to sewers.
