Our technical sectors
Our two technical sectors carry out the interventions on the distribution network: they each cover a separate geographic area.
Network maintenance and extension
In order to ensure a high-quality service, our field teams carry out the network improvement or extension works provided for in the annual programme: laying or repair of pipes, development and maintenance of distribution facilities, etc.
Our employees also intervene in the event of an emergency (e.g. repair of leaks in the network).
Other specialised services
Our employees also carry out other tasks: leak detection, maintenance of fire hydrants, verification of private installations and also combating Legionella.
Leak detection
Leaks in the distribution network are costly and damage the network: they have to be repaired as soon as possible. Our leak detection specialists examine pipes to identify their origin.
Fire hydrant maintenance
These water outlets are made available to firefighters to supply their hoses in the event of a fire. VIVAQUA checks the operation, signage and accessibility of more than 30,000 fire hydrants.
Verification of private installations
To avoid any water backflows, in buildings or towards distribution pipes, the Verification Unit carries out inspections in private buildings. It also approves new installations.
Combating Legionella
Legionella are bacteria that can develop in private pipes. Our specialised unit offers a service to combat Legionella for various customers (hotels, hospitals, wellness centres).
