In March, the general public can discover our laboratory in Uccle, our plants in Tailfer and Vedrin and our catchment site in Modave. As the number of visitors is limited, you must register in advance.

As part of the Brussels and Walloon Water Days, we open the doors of some of our sites to the public.

In the Brussels Region
our laboratory on 23 March, from 11 am to 4:30 pm. The laboratory of VIVAQUA ensures that the water produced and distributed by VIVAQUA complies fully with the legal standards.

In the Walloon Region (visits only in French)

  • our plant in Tailfer on 20, 22, 27 and 29 March at 9:30 am and 1:30 pm. In Tailfer, VIVAQUA has been converting raw water from the Meuse into drinking water for 50 years.
  • our plant in Vedrin on 29 March at 9:30 am and 1:30 pm. In Vedrin, VIVAQUA extracts water from an old pyrite mine. It is the only mine in Belgium still buzzing with activity.
  • our catchment site in Modave on 19, 21, 26 and 28 March at 1:00 pm. Modave is one of the largest underground water catchments in Belgium. VIVAQUA draws water from the source of the river Le Hoyoux.
